One of THOSE days

It's hard to keep good energy, when it feels like every step forward takes you two steps back! It's days like this that makes the artist in me scream in frustration! I'd much rather be frustrated with lampworking or basketry than with the day job.

It's also days like this that distract me by noticing the colors around me; the shades of lavender a friend wore, the redhead with the lime green sweater, the blue of the sky....sigh All better now!

A Start

Less than a year into glass lampworking and how my life has changed. I always thought about color and color combinations, now it is bordering on obsession. Room colors, signs, buildings, skylines...all fair game. And sometimes when I look at glass rods, one just seems to shine.
